Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g chicken thighs or breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: green onions sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, cornstarch, and half the black pepper. Let it sit 15–30 mins.
  • Heat oil in a wok on high heat until shimmering.
  • Add chicken and sear until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, onions, and bell peppers. Stir-fry 2–3 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the wok. Add remaining sauces and black pepper.
  • Toss everything until well coated and heated through.
  • Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
