Ingredients
  

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak or ribeye, filet mignon, or New York strip, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for a spicy kick

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice for a subtle zest
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce for extra depth

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

  • Pat dry the steak cubes with a paper towel. This ensures a nice sear when cooked.
  • Season the steak evenly with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat evenly.

Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan, or the steak won’t sear properly.
  • Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until a deep golden crust forms. For medium-rare, cook until the internal temperature reaches 130-135°F.
  • Remove the steak bites from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and add unsalted butter to the skillet.
  • Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped parsley.

Step 4: Coat the Steak Bites

  • Return the steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately.
